The ministry of Parkminster is shared by the whole congregation. We share our experience of the spiritual dimension of life with each other; we struggle with difficult questions together; we walk with each other through joys and sorrows; we uphold each other in prayer.

We are a vibrant church of 285 families of all age groups, with a deep sense of our own purpose as a church community. This is lived through various outreach projects, with a deep sense of caring for each other, and with many programs designed to stimulate spiritual growth and nurture. We are proud to be an affirming congregation, and seek to live more fully as an inclusive congregation.

In early May 2007, Moderator David Giuliano informed the church that he was facing surgery to remove a tumour from the temple of his forehead.
