Joe has worked with congregations in Hornepayne and Parry Sound. He was born in Portugal and raised as a Roman Catholic but found a home in the United Church in the 90s. He enjoys spiritual reading and is a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and The Toronto Blue Jays!

Neil Murray is our Director of Music. He graduated from UWO in 1993 with an Honours Bachelor of Music Education. The following year, he studied chamber music at the Bordeaux Conservatory in France. Neil taught privately for 16 years, offering lessons on piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute and guitar. He has been involved in church work as a music director for over 20 years! Along with his work at Parkminster, Neil currently teaches K-8 music at a Montessori school.
Debra grew up in the United Church as a PK (Preacher’s Kid). After university, she served as a Youth Minister at a United Church in Mississauga. After having two children of her own, she started a career in youth services with various community organizations. Currently, she is the Executive Director at the Kitchener Waterloo Skating Club.
